No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

These No- Bake Chocolate Peanut Bars are the perfect dessert for chocolate and peanut butter lovers. You only need 4 ingredients to make these bars and they only take 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

Base

  • 200 g digestive biscuits
  • 70 g butter
  • 110 g peanut butter

Chocolate layer

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 60 g peanut butter

Instructions

  • Place the biscuits in a blender or a food processor and blend until crumbs form. Alternatively you can place the biscuits in a ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Pour out the crushed biscuits into a bowl and mix in the melted butter and peanut butter until well combined.
  • Grease a 9 × 9 inch/ 22 × 22 cm square pan and line with grease proof paper.
  • Spread the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the surface using a spoon.
  • Place the chocolate and 30 g of the peanut butter in a medium sized heat proof bowl. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each time until melted and smooth. Place the remaining 30 g of peanut butter in a smaller bowl and microwave until melted.
  • Spread the chocolate over the biscuit layer. Add teaspoons of melted peanut butter on top and use a bread knife or a toothpick to create swirls on the surface.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours. Cut into bars and enjoy!
